These F1B Sheepadoodles are sure to melt your heart! They look like something out of a picture-perfect children’s book. Take a look at those faces – irresistible right?

F1B Sheepadoodles are a cross between a First Generation (F1) Sheepadoodle (Old English Sheepdog cross Standard Poodle) and a purebred Standard Poodle. This makes them roughly 75% Poodle and 25% Old English Sheepdog, extra curly and even more hypoallergenic. They have a remarkable personality, serious good looks and are exceptionally cuddly, like a great big teddy bear. They’re also extremely friendly and will love you and your family unconditionally. You will find Sheepadoodles to be an obedient dog that’s energetic, gentle, loving and kind. They are HYPOALLERGENIC, NON-SHEDDING, and have NO DANDER as long as proper hygiene is maintained, which means they’re great for those of you that want indoor dogs without all that hair!

Our pups are raised in our home along side other dogs, cats and children. They are truly loved and adored from the day they are born.

    BREADING PRINCIPLES

    Commitment to Health and Well-being

At the heart of our breeding program is a steadfast commitment to the health and well-being of our dogs. We believe that a strong, healthy foundation is essential for producing puppies that are not only physically robust but also have balanced temperaments. Our breeding dogs undergo thorough health screenings, including genetic testing, to ensure they are free from hereditary conditions. We prioritize selecting dogs with excellent health histories, ensuring that each puppy born under our care has the best possible start in life. Additionally, our dogs receive regular veterinary care, a nutritious diet, and plenty of exercise to maintain their physical and mental well-being.

    Focus on Temperament and Socialization

Equally important to us is the temperament and socialization of our puppies. We carefully select breeding pairs based on their friendly, stable, and gentle personalities, ensuring that our puppies inherit these desirable traits. From the moment they are born, our puppies are raised in a loving, nurturing environment where they are exposed to various sights, sounds, and experiences. This early socialization helps them develop into well-adjusted, confident dogs that are ready to become beloved members of your family. We believe that a well-rounded temperament is crucial for a happy and harmonious life, both for the dog and its future owners.

An F1 puppy comes from pure bred parents making them an 50/50 cross with a poodle.

An F1B means that the puppies parents are a F1 poodle cross bred back to a pure breed Poodle. This makes the puppies roughly 75% poodle and 25% of the cross breed.
For example a Cavapoo bred back to a pure bred miniature poodle which makes them roughly 75% Miniature Poodle and 25% King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. These puppies tend to be curlier than the F1’s and more hypoallergenic

Yes, all of these breeds are considered to be hypoallergenic. While no dog is completely hypoallergenic, the Poodle mix in these breeds typically results in a coat that sheds very little, which can be better for people with allergies. If you are concerned about allergies know that the F1B’s tend to be kore hypoallergenic than the F1’s

    • Cavapoos are also small, typically weighing between 14-25 pounds.
    • Cavapoochons are small dogs, usually weighing between 8-24 pounds.
    • Sheepadoodles can range from medium to large, depending on the Poodle parent, typically weighing between 50-80 pounds.
    • Bernedoodles vary in size, with standard Bernedoodles weighing between 70-90 pounds and mini Bernedoodles weighing 25-50 pounds.

The size range is dependant on the size of the parents. We can narrow down this size range for you based on the size of the parents and past history of the previous litters

All these breeds are known for their friendly, affectionate, and social temperaments. They generally get along well with children and other pets. Sheepadoodles and Bernedoodles are known for their loyalty, while Cavapoochons and Cavapoos are known for their playful and gentle nature.

    • Sheepadoodles and Bernedoodles are active dogs that require daily exercise, including walks, playtime, and mental stimulation.
    • Cavapoochons and Cavapoos are also active but require slightly less exercise, making them ideal for apartment living or less active households. Regular walks and playtime will keep them happy and healthy.

Yes, all of these breeds are intelligent and generally easy to train. Their Poodle lineage contributes to their quick learning and adaptability. Consistent, positive reinforcement training methods work best.

Due to their curly or wavy coats, these cross breeds require regular grooming including brushing a few times a week. The longer you like to have the hair the more often you need to brush it, and with that the shorter you like their coat the more frequently they will require grooming. I recommend every 6 weeks to 3 months.

A balanced diet of high-quality dog food is essential. Consult with your vet to determine the best diet based on your dog’s age, size, and activity level. Avoid feeding them foods that contain wheat, soy, corn and table scraps. Ensure they have access to fresh water at all times.

    • Sheepadoodles typically live 12-15 years.
    • Cavapoochons and Cavapoos can live 12-16 years.
    • Bernedoodles have a lifespan of 12-15 years.

We have been told that our puppies do well with working families once kennel and house trained.
Due to how we raise our puppies from birth, we have had very low incidences of separation anxiety in our puppies. There are no guarantees that your puppy will not develop separation anxiety after joining your family. Just know that with proper training, you can increase the time you are away from them and they will adjust to being along while you are away from work.
Doggy day care, and or hiring a dog walker is always a good idea.

Yes, these breeds are generally excellent with children. They are gentle, patient, and enjoy playing, making them wonderful family pets.

Consider your living situation, activity level, and the amount of time you can dedicate to grooming and exercise. Each breed has its own unique characteristics, so think about what fits best with your lifestyle. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help guide you in making the best choice for your family.

    TESTIMONIALS

    |”We’ve had our girlie for about 6-7 months now, and I just wanted to show you the work and time you put into these dogs are worth it.

Our girl is named Blake, and she is the most lovable, friendliest dog ever. She’s still unsure of dogs on the TV but loves to watch football with her dad on Sunday’s. She also loves to swim!

I just wanted to thank you for all you do for these puppies, as they really are the best ones out there. Blake has our changed for the better that we can’t imagine life without her. So thank you again!”

    ~ Lainey S, Edmonton AB

    |”What a wonderful experience working with Jeannie and her family for the purchase of my bernedoodle Poppy.
They were so accommodating for me from the start and helped raise a very well adjusted, smart and beautiful dog who fit right into the family with ease.
Over the past two years I researched other breeders, but eventually set my heart on their puppies and I have no regrets. I could not have asked for a better puppy or breeder. Thank you for all that you do, Yabba Dabba Doodles!”

    ~ Leah M, Alberta

    |”I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Jeannie. She was very patient and informative, answering all my questions and providing additional advice to ensure the puppy received the best care possible. It was clear this isn’t just a business for her; she genuinely cares about every single puppy she sends to a new home. Jeannie is happy to receive updates on the puppy and continuously offers tips and answers to any further questions after the adoption. She was also very genuine and sweet in person. My family had a very pleasant time meeting her and learning about the puppy, and we greatly appreciated her time.
Additionally, she goes above and beyond to ensure her puppies are in excellent health, taking measures to prevent various health problems, infections, and even allergies. I felt reassured that the puppy I received from her is in the very best health.”

    ~ Sabina F, Edmonton AB

    |”We got our baby from Jeannie in May of 2024. I just contacted Jeannie well over 2 years ago about cavapoo’s. She was so patient with me but I was not in a hurry to get a puppy and she was fine with how picky I was and sometimes how ridiculous my questions were. Lol other breeder likely wouldn’t have been so patient. I strongly believe that’s what makes Jeannie so special. She is in it for the love of dogs and the joy they bring. Long story shortened, after I decided what I wanted, I waited 8 months for the perfect for me puppy to be born per Jeannie’s recommendation. She nailed it. Fynn is perfect for my family and couldn’t be more loved. He is smart, loyal, playful, cuddly, confident and just a bombproof puppy thanks to the methods Jeannie used in raising the pups. If Fynn ever needs a sibling I will be going back to Jeannie for sure!”

~ Lori Ann L, Athabasca AB

    |”We just love our little Finnegan!!! We brought him home in December, and so far he’s been such a loyal, smart, goofy and loveable little guy, he brings so much joy to our lives, we would totally get another! Yabba Dabba Doodles is fabulous at what they do, and Jeannie was great to chat with throughout the whole process. We highly recommend to anyone looking to adopt!”
